HOUSING OPTIONS HUB E LEARNING MODULE

THE HUB

People can access housing options in different ways

Buildings

People may go to the offices of their landlords or another agency to find out about housing options to get support about their housing issue. Landlords and other agencies might have information about housing options advertised (posters and leaflets) as well as having staff who can speak about housing options. Housing Options information might also be available in libraries, health centres and other public spaces.

Library

Landlords and other agencies have websites where they may advertise housing options services and provide contact details. Some landlords have a web based housing options assessment for people to find out what their options might be.

Phone or text

Some people find it hard to go to an office or speak to someone in person. A client might be given contact information about housing options by the person they phone.

Social Media

Landlords and other agencies may have Facebook and/or Twitter feeds pages which provide details about housing options and where to go about housing issues.
