- Files were stored securely
- Where files were stored electronically, they were in the same order as the paper copies
- Customer and staff signatures in appropriate places
- Notes sheets providing a clear picture of what had happened at each stage
- Outcomes clearly marked
- A completed customer satisfaction survey
- Notes about any action taken about complaints, enquiries made by the customer
