You will be asked to sign the tenancy agreement (in the landlord’s office) before you are given the key/s.

If you are not completely clear about any aspect of the tenancy agreement, ask the officer to explain it more clearly.

Inventory

If your new home is owned by a private landlord, you may be given an inventory – a list of any/all items provided in the house.

IT IS VERY IMPORTANT THAT YOU MAKE SURE THAT THE LIST IS CORRECT and YOU HAVE SEEN EVERY ITEM THAT IS LISTED
