Jenna’s Story
Jenna was always rowing with her parents and got really unhappy. Her school had a programme about young people and homelessness so she spoke to a teacher about her situation.
Jenna’s teacher suggested that she and her family got some help to speak to each other about the problems.
Jenna spoke to her parents about this and they agreed to this idea.
The teacher then set them up with a local family mediation counsellor, Carrie. The family went to see Carrie for a few months.
