This network of Hubs was ‘established to promote a housing options approach to homelessness prevention. The Hubs focus on developing the Housing Options through a combination of sharing practice, commissioning joint training and research.’ (Source: Scottish Government website)
The Scottish Government facilitates several national meetings a year including an annual national stakeholders’ event for the exchange of ideas and good practice examples.
Hub members have found attending these meetings useful because:
- ‘The events are good for networking with the other four hubs to exchange information and get updates on their work.’
- ‘We can see how our work is progressing in comparison to other organisations.’
- ‘We hear updates from the Scottish Government and other related agencies.’
- ‘They provide an opportunity for Hub members to learn good practice from each other.’
