Services provided: We provide temporary supported homeless accommodation to young vulnerable females aged between 16 and 25. We have ten bed-spaces, and each resident is allocated a key support worker when they arrive at Gilven. The girls are given help to claim benefits and allowances, and are also supported to develop independent living skills for when they move into their own tenancy.

Services provided: The 'Y' delivers many services from its central community centre in North Street, Glenrothes. From here numerous community learning and leisure activities. The centre also provides information, advice, laundry and shower facilities for homeless people as well as signposting for other services in Glenrothes and Fife. Activities range from counselling and young carers support, to health checks and weekly hot food for people in need.
