Nomi’s Story
Nomi had been living in a shared flat with a couple of friends when the landlord told them he was selling the house and they would have to leave.
Nomi had gone to college and got a job which she wanted to keep but her friends decided to go back home because they didn’t have jobs.
Nomi went to the local housing office after a work mate told her they might be able to help.
Nomi spoke to an officer Mary, who set up an appointment for her to meet with a housing options officer.
2 days later Nomi went to meet the housing options officer, Arya, and explained what had been going on.
Nomi and Ayra discussed a lot of different things, her money situation, her work, college.
They decided that Nomi could afford to live in a private let with some support.
